The loneliest Server
Maybe our servers should make a joint effort.
so instead of 5 players we can have 10 total?
We had 4 so 9…

Meanwhile in Kaineng… I know that feel bro.

Yeah, I have made about 6 attempts so far at the new Teq, and every one of them ended with me wondering why I wasted 15 minutes with no reward.
It makes me sad in my blood pumping muscle.

You could have quadrupled your numbers if you were all Mesmers.

Also IoJ… unmanned turrets outman the actual players. I will never see Teq done because of timezone since we just can’t command enough players.
Nothing lonely about it, about half of GW2 servers are low population in terms of active players. Not only do we get crushed in WvW weekly but we have to now get crushed in PvE.
Generally in GW2 you don’t need to be in a high population server, but this event showed me that ET is not “High” by any means. It is a low population server that is labeled as “High” for some odd reason.
Four brave souls trying to take on Teq in Ferguson’s Crossing. At the 4 minute mark we had no turrets and everyone was dead.
OMG! Bless your hearts <3
I applaud your effort. That’s nothing to be ashamed of.
This morning on GoM (not peak time, I admit) it was myself and another player.
We stood on a jump pad, watched Taco eat his daily cannon, and wondered if GoM will ever take him down on its own.

My prediction is that Teq will become a farmed event on successful, full servers during primary play times. While it will become an ignored event on all unsuccessful servers and off hour players will forever look at the impossible 1v1 fight that it has become. (sadly this has already started as people are guesting to beat teq leaving their servers with an even smaller chance to succeed, forcing more people to guest).
predictions by
an off hour engi on a low tier server.
I’ve seen this a lot on Sorrow’s Furnace as well. To be fair, this is usually just before reset, so it probably fills up a bit after that.

It’s been light the last couple nights on SF. But we have by no means given up. It’s just been tough getting the folks who have been active in the organized runs together this week due to scheduling conflicts. In the interim, I’m suggesting that any SF folks out there who plan to join our server’s attempts to do some runs with one of the cross-server Teq guilds to familiarize themselves with the mechanics and tactics. It’ll make our own future attempts to take down Teq much smoother.

I think FC has given up. Everyone I know guests and even the overflows do better. Right after reset and it’s the same thing. I don’t think FC will ever be coordinated enough to do it.

This is so true

It appears that you are as successful as most other servers with higher populations, if that is any consolation.

oh how i know the loneliness of this server, after attempting teq with a bunch of people the first day… everyone just stopped trying. it just got worse and worse trying to find people to do that boss battle with. i really wanted to continue to keep trying though i knew that no one would be coming back. as much as i loved FC (Ferguson’s Crossing) my home server, i transferred to another one in which people would continue to do this event. not only would they continue to due other events that later on might be as hard as this one though they also wouldn’t give up as easily.
FC’s server does say – high populated, though it’s actually severely low populated.
i’ll miss my home server.. – sad cow
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
Based on the tally, it seems FC has beaten him twice.
I don’t recall FC being mentioned as one of the servers where one of the higher servers guested to use as a hub, so I’m assuming they were legit server kills.
Eredon Terrace is the loneliest server that could ever be. Everyone else who thinks that their server is lower population, I invite you to guest here and see what desolation looks like.

The way I understand it your “high” isn’t based off actual players, but accounts on that server + players. I could be wrong, but if I’m not then that means high is anywhere from 20 people on a server to a few hundred, while full is everything else. There are servers listed as high that have 5-10 people in lions arch and most zones completely empty.
I know it doesn’t help but the majority of servers are like yours. I wish Anet would just offer free transfers for a week or something.
You guys should try guesting to Ehmry Bay a little after peek or during peek on a slow day. We have a guy who will run Teq and has lead many pub groups to victory. Not always on the first try mind you but he does get it done if enough people listen and stay. His name is Ronny Aldo if you want to try it with it. You just have to get on TS, keep the negative BS to yourself, have some patience, and fill a roll. He enjoys the challenge of whipping pubs into shape.
FC was one of the first servers that BG guested to help, fyi.

I don’t think anyone told FC this, and as an FYI FC has never beaten Teq.

According to http://gw2dragons.com/dragons/leaderboard
FC has beaten Teq twice.
I went to Teq on Anvil Rock around 6PM EST yesterday, maybe a little later. This would be considered “Prime Time” or around for a NA server. I went down and seen literally 3 people. I smirked, and portaled back to LA.
about an hour later, my guild announced it would be “extending” to Tarnished Coast due to increased Coverage in WvW and meta events.
A good day for ArenaNet, and a bad day for players. Good Game…
True story.
Lol extending is a good way to put that, ill use that from now on when i extend myself from SF.

About servers listed as high: same thing as fast food joints selling “medium” as their smallest size.
Maybe you can convince some of your big WvW guilds to come together to do Tequatl.

That would be cool, but it seems so many quit over bl. Then some transferred because of the league system.

The stomps are just crazy with the new system. In almost every tier it’s just a full on stomp.
Eu has it good for wvw. It’s never been this bad in NA though, the bl mechanic just killed it.
