So the release date for Tower of Nightmares is on the 29th. The Halloween next part is on the same time too? Does that mean we get both halloween and Tower of nightmares? Or was there never the next part in the halloween/they just threw away halloween?

The Mad King returns on Halloween (I think that’s 28/10/13) so that’s when Mad King Says will be doable. Aside from that we don’t know. I suspect his dungeon encounter (possibly altered to include the prince) will return in some form as well.
I hope so too, that we see the dungeon return, it doesn’t make sense that the Mad King only returns from Oct 30 – Nov 1 or something, and that’s it, while Halloween continues to run until Nov 12 just like it is now.

The dungeon, Ascent to Madness, was part of last year’s story – the metas and scavenger hunt didn’t return, I doubt the dungeon will. Don’t look up for it, it’ll only be a disappointment.

Thx for the reply Mark but can we get a bit more information? On the release page for the Bloody Prince there really is not much about wether we get anything else for halloween. I would really be disappointed if we did not get more for halloween. I think I speak for alot of people when I say, we are hoping there is a dungeon where we get to fight the prince/king again.

Wow, I was really expecting more. This patch felt more like a teaser since most of it is from last year. I thought the mid October patch would have more Halloween stuff.

While I largely agree with this, there’s a nagging part of my brain that wonders why Mark’s response was worded the way it was. If nothing other than the appearance of the Mad King is planned to occur, then surely it would help manage the player base’s expectations by stating this.
Again, I think it’s best to expect that the appearance of MKT is the only Halloween content yet to be released, but there’s just that little element of doubt /hope.
