Elder dragons are a thing of the past and the means to get GW1 players excited to buy GW2.

One would think (and probably expect) that after 1 year since game’s release, ANet would work on an expansion or some form of permanent content. Yet all this time we’re still stuck with the same old boring game. I haven’t forgotten Fractals and the recent update but it would never suffice to justify the game’s current state.

I doubt we’ll see any other Elder dragon anytime soon.

I’d prefer them to fix the way they vehicle/tell their story first before touching the elder dragons. I don’t think Scarlet is the main problem, it was the way they presented her. Imo, it seems that in the content development processus, the devs choose to focus on a particular area on tyria(Make new items, rewards, gemstore, achievements, new map/ennemy, etc) and then the writers comes last. It seems that isn’t much they can do, because their creativity seems limited by what the devs impose on them. They just try to justify anything and try to make some sense with the current living story arc and see if it “fits”. Story should come first, and then you develop your content around it.

I’m pretty sure the Charr are the GW equivalent of Orcs. Asura would be the dwarves I guess, with a slight sci-fi twist to them.

I don’t want them to add more dragons until they fix the MASSIVE issues with the living story plot lines and how they tell it. Once they have worked out how to tell a story properly then I will be up for more dragons

Yeah, but the gw2 dwarves aren’t the typical dwarves, they’re all stone and I want to say hivemind, but with how ogden is, i’m not so sure. Either way, the dwarves aren’t like other fantasy dwarves.

I would be fine with Jormag, but we are more likely to get the jungle dragon before any others. First reason is Scarlet, second is because the Arena Net writers seem to be obsessed with Sylvari, for some bizarre reason.

If Jormag does get an update, all champs on the map should go on pause while it’s up. That way they’ll either come help or go do something else.

I think you are getting confused with the Claw of Jormag, Shanks. The topic refers to the Elder Dragon Jormag, not his lieutenants.

Tequatl update was one of the best thing that happened to the game.
Except for the scaling being kinda broke.
Try guesting on Desolation or Gandara if you are on EU. Just be there in time to not be stuck in overflow If you are on US try the same on the highest populated servers.

Im prety SURE that asuran are meant to be the GNOMES not the dwarves dwarves were already in GW and where removed later, Charrs definitively are orcs while sylvaris are elves

Jormag eats Scarlet. Scarlet and Jormag hybrid is born, Scarmag. But a piece of salad from Scarlet is found, the evil Inquest decide to use this to create a clone. Successfully they recreate Scarlet and the Scarmag + Scarlet alliance is born. Scarmaglet.

It happens every 2 hour 1 or 2 min over, it’s a fixed time .. 18:00, 20:00 etc ..
Well on Desolation we win at least 9/10 times except for mornings/nights. And if the people are not doing well, you are not suppose to win either

Just drop her. When something is unfixable, you stop fixing it and just chuck it away. I feel like a kid who gets forcefed rotten food because his parents feels its a waste to just throw them away.

Scarlet tripped over and gave herself brain damage and so now is in a vegetable (pun not intended) state. Anything, just kill her off.

Dwarves = dwarves of other games, just that they’re extinct, like in Elder Scrolls
Sylvari = basically like wood elves
Charr = orcs, only cooler and less ugly/dumb, etc.
Quaggans = butt of all GW2 slapstick/jokes and the embodiment and constant reminder of how GW2 is way too light in tone/atmosphere… woooooooooooooooo, let’s toss in some stupid, “innocent” humour and ooooooooooooooo this, booooooooooo that… Come on, just wipe them off the face of Tyria already, knowing they’ve been facing the Krait a long time, it’s very difficult to understand why they’re not all gone already, or all in enslavement.

I’m hoping they wrap it up quickly. It’s been a year, and we’ve only ‘fought’ Zhaitan so far. They sold us this game with the promise of fighting “The Elder Dragons”. We’ve only seen one Elder Dragon so far.. and he didn’t do a whole lot…. like, nothing at all.

Can we move on to Jormag? This is the winter season. Would be an excellent time to hint at his arrival.
