As for condition Rangers, they remain where they were. In WvW it’s still condibunk with Nature’s Voice, in tpvp they got slightly nerfed. But overall pet f2 are better.

So so clueless. They added Zero buffs to any bunker build for the engineer. While the main trait that you personally ranted about in a few post got the life nerfed out of it.
First clue that you do not know what your talking about is when you stay intentionally non specific by making comments such as “recent changes” instead of stating what change is specifically an issue.

Lyssa still removes 5 conditions. The only nerf is that you can’t get a kittenload of boons for nothing (especially aegis/protection/stability). So it’s still just as good against conditions (except if you have more than 5 conditions on you, which rarely happens unless you are getting focused).

So how in the blue blazing hell did they become overpowered by being nerfed?

Engi has been OP for months now. Ranger has been able to make unkillable 1v1 tanks for months now. Warrior has been unkillable for months now.
Is something different?
Oh right, they nerfed thief because it was too OP vs those professions (except that all those professions were autowin or stalemate vs thief before, now they are autowin guaranteed).

Calm down, just saying that even though surely direct damage builds still exsist, condition damage builds atm are way more viable and strong then they actually should be probably… atm it just feels like they simply allowed normal direct dmg and tank builds to be able to have amazing condition dmg at the same time.
Also trying to insult people saying they are clueless and dont know what they are talking about is kinda sad, other people are never wrong, they just have a different opinion then you, so unless you make millions on the stockmarket because you yourself are never wrong, there is no reason to react like that :P

Even though Thiefs backstabbing for 15k+ dmg kinda was a meh move before, i do have to say that atm you need minimal 2 thiefs to fight 1 guy which is kind of a sad move

New sigils and runes is what makes condi engineer even more viable now. 7-8 second burning on 10 second cd, random proc aster trait anyone?

Conditions did far from get nerfed, those actually got buffed in general. At necromancers erc. ytou dont notice it that much but at rangers and engineers it seems like for every 1 defensive/bunker stat they lose, they get 5 times the condition dmg back :P

There you go again. making uninformed statements. You have done nothing but post misinformation, and made uninformed and extremely inaccurate statements since you made this thread.
Are you just trolling to misinform new players? It is truly baffling that someone would make so many post with so little knowledge.
Stop tryin to tell us what “everyone” was or was not doing. Because the fact is, you do not have the slightest clue what anyone was doing. For one, my experience and discussion with very many engineers opposes claims your making. Secondly, unless you have a reports listing such information, stop talking out your ear at us about thing you have no information on.

Poison master rangers will be very strong. But you will also be seeing a lot of LB power rangers. The damage output from 1500 and ability to kite make them a viable addition as roamer.

Any grenade build is condi since Anet nerfed the power coefficient to hell back when they made sigils affect kits.
As for Rangers, the most common build is shortbow + sword/dagger/torch/axe condi. Greatsword + longbow are only used seriously in WvW zerging.
I like how everyone is QQ-ing about Ranger and Engineer being so OP, and when I log in, what can I see ?

Thats not even remotely true, i wish i could get 5x my total vitality and toughness in condition damage. That would be a laugh…
Also, Engineers only got fixes to Turrets which are useless anyway. Other things, in particular conditions, got nerfed.
And, here’s another funfact that people simply do not wish to hear. Conditions did get nerfed. When runes changed, so did condition duration, its now harder to stack global condition duration then before and hit that 100% mark.
Not a terribly massive nerf, but a nerf nonetheless.
Rangers have been at the bottom of the pile since day one, and you’re moaning that we have ONE decent build? Also, I’m choosing to disregard your Engineer gameplay because I can see from your forum post history that you main an Elementalist, so I’m assuming this thread is a response to your poor experiences with Rangers and Engineers.
Rangers have never, ever been buffed. There have been no “changes towards condition Rangers”. We’ve managed to adapt to one (two if you count spirit builds but they really aren’t all that) decent build out of the cr4p pile of traits, weapon skills and utilities. But let me tell you where a condi bunker Ranger sucks, just to put fairness into perspective for you:
- mobility (if a target flees we can forget about trying to chase, if we’re the ones being chased we can get caught by basically anyone)
- damage-dealing (we have no condition burst, ours just tends to ebb away at the target, who will eventually die if they’re too stupid to use condi removal or run away)
- negligible group support, still unwanted in dungeons and PvE, pretty useless in zergs.
EDIT: furthermore, even after Rangers won the overwhelming majority of votes for the “profession most in need of help”, and the 70-page long Ranger CDI thread (that the devs chose to DELETE rather than sticky for some stupid reason) none of our core problems (apart from the pet F2 responsiveness fix, which STILL doesn’t work on some pets) have been addressed this patch. We’re not being listened to at all. I can’t think of ONE dev that mains a Ranger.

Apparently you speak out of a complete lack of knowledge here. Take grenades from the engineer for example. They are considered to be “a problem” because the uninformed claim the allow to much condition damage pressure, when in fact only 2 of the 5 grenade skills apply condition damage. One of which got a 40% condition damage nerf in the last update.
You specifically claim conditions were buffed, when it is a fact that the grenade engineer, for example, got a 20% damage nerf.
