What Guild Wars 2 NEEDS!
Sure, ele is going to get some extra healing and condi clear and still die in .5 seconds to thief.
Nothing new that a light armor caster dies to a melee class that is consentrated on 1v1 fights through spike damage.

Lol … what ? You talking like we dont need balance in this game ,let’s every thing go nature right ?

you can do exactly same to a thief with d/f ele…=.=

The google search engine does exactely that: search for the words you put into the search field.
It will find threads about cries from unexperienced players crying because they got killed in WvW by a ranger or elementalist. You will find threads about warrior being limited and thiefs stealth being OP. Heck I just found a post about the stolen skill “whirling axe” being OP!
I personally think Anet knows more than we do with thier curren tracing system. They only listen to their player base to find where the irritations are. How people think about some skills and compare them to their feedback from the game.
If Anet would totally listen to their playerbase, a lot of good players and especially pvp’ers will be very dissapointed. If they do not listen to their players, a lot of irritations will exist in the game.
game needs more chicks.

I believe the top articles on google search are much more relevant than you think, what I searched for was optimistic but also somewhat ambiguous, the results were for the most part all positive except for two classes in particular, and its also quite obvious these two classes need a revamp.
I wish Anet devs would take after the WildStar devs and actually put some effort into showing us that they listen and show us that they have some kind of plan to fix what needs to be fixed… Look at WildStars MO, “The Devs are Listening”. That should be Anet in a nutshell IMO
I do follow the guild wars 2 twitch, I know the devs do respond to the community, but not enough IMO…

MESMER: Looks like this class was cried about being underplayed in 2012, but is growing in popularity because of buffs over the years, interestingly enough this “underplayed” class seems to also get a little bit of hate for being too OP.
Pray tell, which buffs the Mesmer got over the years that makes it so good? Also, please tell specifically what makes it OP?
Enlighten me.
What this game need is less silly threads like this where people ask for nerfs or buffs without understanding how specific classes function.
What this game truly needs is fortnightly small balance patches where things are tweaked, rather than wholesale being overhauled with big feature patches where even the devs cant judge the impact of every eight months or so.

NECRO: Lots of mixed feelings about this class over the years, seems as though this class was cried about in 2012 for being kitten until recently when they got a huge buff patch.
No, we never got a huge buff patch. What we got instead was so many bugs and nerfs, that a lot of people have stopped playing necromancer. I think the reason less people cry about the necro, is because they’ve given up, and moved to a different class. A whole year has passed, and we’ve only seen about 5 comments by Anet in our class forum. 5 comments over a whole year. Yeah, I give up too. They just don’t care. I might as well roll a warrior like everyone else.

Doesn’t it search for relevancy as top priority? If I searched for “Guild War 2 Swiftness” and it returned searches about the living world I would think google was broken or another example I search for “Walmart” and got nothing back except for “Best Buy”
These aren’t articles though they are threads from forums big difference.

If you have up, then why so many negative posts? By the way none of this actually helps so as a necro player who wants to see the class balanced, I wish you’d stop.
You’re wrong anyway since necros received insane buffs on 6/25 that elevated the class in many ways, while taking away some utility at the time. Since the class was buffed so much, necros have been shaved down over time to the point that now it’s questionable if we are better now or before the buffs. All the while many bugs still exist in the class, and it still has some weaknesses.
I think now you still have people that hate necros as their buffs brought along the condition meta, and you have others who wish to see the class brought to where it can really be. Not necessarily buffed, but improved. The class needs more utility and attrition style buffs.

Nub: “OMG Anet so and so is way too OP. PLZ NERF IT, there is no way to beat this build.”
Anet:“We have been testing this on our test servers and do not find it to be unbalanced. So and so is supposed to have high defenses against such and such but is weak versus this and that. We don’t believe it needs to be adjust at this time.”
Nub:“You guys are wrong it is OP. See I have this vid of it killing a bunch of other nubs like me. I can’t believe you guys don’t see it. Your incompetence in balancing is baffling. You should look a such and such Dev team balancing this or that (unbalanced) game, they know what they are doing. You should hire those guys and get rid of these lazy people you have working for you.”
Can you blame them for not wanting to talk to us?
“…let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we shall die;.”
Shouldn’t the topic of this thread be, “What the PVP side of Guild Wars 2 Needs!”? Yes. Yes it should… Would have saved me from clicking into it, but now that I am here I’m posting in it because I’m sitting in a cubical on the sixth floor of an office building near downtown.
