lich wob golem indirect nerf added by boosting nothing while making the others even stronger =|
oh and not to mention all the nerfs after dhuumfire then getting rid of it and not reverting back to pre dhuumfire..

I guess you can’t read how many ele stuff they nerfed maybe.
They are the same they nerfed on necro (www mostly) plus way more.
They tried to add some power to a couple traits requiring you to go full dps, that won’t happen since a stealthed opponent will down you in less than a second.
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

Question about the Lich precision nerf. Is that only a hero panal bug or did it really happen?
I havent tested Lich form yet.
And i agree with you. The Well of blood nerf hit well builds hard (not that they were common outside the gwen meta and even there wob was hardly used due its light field nature).
I haven’t tested Lich Form either, really. Only suitable test subject is the indestructible golem in HOTM.
(small buffs like cleave on dagger excluded)
I thought the improved necro sustain over time would imply, say, a 50% duration increase on Well of Blood at the cost of -25% health per second, reducing healing burst, but improving overall heal.

I read the patch notes. The only nerfs were to elite skills, and those were broken, so I dont see how that gives foundation to whine.
As I said, nerfing Well of Blood was probably a bad idea. However, I don’t think they see it as a nerf, since the healing was increased by 50%.
I really hope you won’t argue anything else.

No problem guys, this patch was more centered around Ranger (being the first class voted by players) and a bit of Elementalist. Next patch will be Eles the focus and the next one (ETA 2015) will be the PATCH OF NECROMANCERS at last!!
They will buff our siphons and give them the ability to heal us on DS and give us more torment, more sustain overall, more stability access…. XDDD

They kinda buffed the GS and main hand axe… Kinda. It wasn’t a buff but a much needed QoL fix to the signets.
Sadly, my Ele has been made useless in dungeons due to FGS nerf which was single-handily the biggest nerf this patch.
I thought being third in line for needing the most help as voted by the players would mean necro is already underpowered not in need of more nerfs
you over buffed rangers and you buffed eles but you get into the Guinness book of records having the ability to surpass nerfing into the ground and go deeper into the planets core, where is this sustain you promised? all you did was take away our cc and damage and say job done

Well if you do dungeons at all, there were some significant “fixes” to rangers and eles(Frost Spirit + FGS).
Necros are still in a bad place for dungeons though lol.
I would argue OP: necro > engi > ele > ranger = guard > war > mesmer > thief

Ele still has the highest dps in a dungeon so stop complaining about it. They are still the very best dungeon class in the game. Also, did you not notice the huge buff to ranger longbow?

burst skills, sustain, or good support. GG ANET.

Also, ele’s movement skills that causes fire field was nerf like the golem’s movement skill, it does not generate fire field if hit the wall. Which is a lot of dmg, and that’s 3 of the ele’s fire skills. ( I am not talking about the fgs skills. Fgs is overdue for a nerf)

Necros have been the worst pve class in the game since launch. Have terrible sustain because they can’t refill thier health bar, and have no way to disengage/become invuln/pop stability to survive team focus. They also have the lowest access to boons in the game. They also have the worst in combat mobility in the game. These issues have been around since launch without any word of a fix. Furthermore, Anet lowered necros diversity with the nerf to well of blood. Necros have 1 heal skill and 3 utilities that wish they healed enough to be heal skills. Blood magic is one of if not the worst trait line in the game, and there are numerous traits that aren’t even good enough to justify a niche use. The class is stuck running full damage builds in pvp because their survivability is terrible.
All of this and eles are complaining they can’t meteornado or fgs into a wall to instakill bosses/players and calling this patch a massive nerf. Your still top tier in pvp, pve, and wvw so stop complaining.

Further more the necro didn’t really get badly nerfed (except WoB) but also didn’t get buffed properly, something every profession but especially the necro was hoping for. Mainly if you take into account that they were going to buff the necro’s survivability when they announced the patch. Sadly this did not happen, and necro’s can be disappointed for a true reason.

On the paper maybe….eles are still TOP risk profession, and now the reward is not enough in dungeons.
You know in order to keep a decent dps we have to sacrifice everything? even the healing skill?
If you want me to show how good you are in a CoE1 run with your ele i’m totally up for it.
(don t say its impossible, just you’d learn istantly why ele needs something more… even replacing elite with a skill that only does a blast…).
