Hey, I just had a 25 minute stalemate with a d/d ele while I was specced for zerg benevolence stacking / monk runed full clerics armor. I dunno if he was a bunker, but neither of us could die. I got close a few times, but I healing powered my way back to full.

The point I am trying to ask about is:

Do you guys have any recommendations about how to 1v1 another ele? It feels like a “whoever kittens up first, but even then idk” kind of thing. It’s not like I can strip boons or anything..

And if it is kind of like a stalemate, do you guys think that S/F would have fared better vs the d/d ele than staff?

Ele and Guardians wont die if they bunker with clerics in a 1v1. Actually most classes probably wont die if they bunker with clerics in a 1v1. MAYBE a Thief possibly a full glass mace/shield warrior+GS or Killshot warrior can kill any of those builds, I guess its possible full shatter glass mesmer. Nobody else has the damage imo to get past it.

Do you think bunkering with clerics on another set for ele would be a better alternative for bunkering? I don’t really feel like many other sets, maybe d/f for the heal on 2 might be good for healing.

sooooo… you were specced for bunker and wondering why you couldn’t kill someone? keep in mind that you were using staff as well which isn’t a great weapon to 1v1 with…

Land your fire rotations.

Win.

You’re not gonna win a 1v1 as a Cleric Staff Ele. You might avoid losing, but you won’t win.

Zerker engi can beat ‘m too if he’s smart enough to strip boons.
