engineers lack good condition clear. The best thing you can do is keep the burns up to continue pressuring them and dodge the nade spam.

Necros have trouble fighting opponents that can keep getting behind them. I like to weave in and out of their body while attacking. Dont give them any room and keep pressure. When you see the specral armor buff it is better to wait out the duration instead of attacking because a necro without lifeforce is a dead necro.

It depends which part of fighting them you got issues with. I usually had issues with the CCs, and this helped a lot. I don’t use the “meta” build though, so…

Necros is a nightmare for me as Elementalist, too much CC with damage and pets that will shred you in seconds if you aren’t constantly healing yourself.

This so so much.

Also for the engi’s try putting as many conditions up as possible.

Lastly if you do not have it I suggest using sigil of doom.

The damage may not be great but the poison reduces all healing done by 1/3 while active which can add even more pressure to your offense.
