But it’s Arcane Wave that was (is) the blast finisher?

That’s correct since it should be a Projectile Finisher, not a Blast Finisher.

Before the hotfix Arcane Blast was a physical projectile, and when it landed (on the mob) it created a Combo Finisher : Blast effect. After this hotfix it apparently doesn’t so anymore.

Arcane Blast has always been a projectile Finisher. Despite the name. I know its a little confusing. Should have probably been called Arcane bolt in stead of Arcane Blast.

It was a hidden blast finisher 30 minutes ago.

Then with the update they messed it up as it wasn’t suppose to be a blast finisher ever. So the hot fix was an actually “FIX” and not a “NERF”

so it was a bugfix, not a nerf.

Where can you read what they actually did with this hotfix? All I see is ‘we fixed lots of bugs’.

You can’t since Anet doesn’t like to tell us what bugs they actually fixed. Just have to wait for the community to figure out what they did.

Gah…the only thing worse than Anet’s communication skills is their quality assurance.

Prior to June 25th patch, Arcane Blast was NOT a blast finisher. It was only a projectile finisher.

It appears the patch made it a blast finisher by accident, and they have since fixed it.

Ok we all agree they fixed it. End of discussion.
