Guild Wars 2

As I was doing my research on elementalist builds, I noticed that no build had air + earth in major traits. Personally I like this combination due to increased critical and DoT, but is there any practical reason why people haven’t used it?

My character is PvE orientated (for now, I’m still new here ) but maybe later on I’m going to take part in WvW and join a guild etc. As a weapon I’m using dagger+dagger / staff.

Any advice appreciated!

Crits and dots generaly don´t combine as they gain practicaly no benefit from eachother. Ofcourse there´s some builds dealing with bleed/burning on crit and such.
Not enough synergy is the reason there´s not many builds like that.

So shoulkittenep playing with my elementalist (level 23) or will it be better if I make a new one? Traits 0/8/5/0/0.

(I don’t understand why it reads something about kittens at the beginning of this post, its not what I wrote.. o__o I mean is there any reason to keep playing with my current character )

Keep playing with your character, go to trainer and reset your traits if your unhappy with them its not expensive at all.
On the topic the main reason nobody uses air/earth is simply because arcana and water are so freakin useful (both help the main problem of elementalists being really really squishy)

No need to make a new one as you’ll have to respec at 10 (which you already did) 40 and 60 no matter what.

Your picture is of your skill points. A little point of interest you’ll likely get hundreds of these because they just keep accumulating even after max level. (there also a form of currency in game)

Oh maybe I should have said that the pic is about my skills I was just messing with that typo so I forgot.

But thanks for help! Nice to hear that I’m not totally screwed with my elementalist. I think I’ll focus more on earth and DoT for now on.
