So, my goal is to have all the elements represented in my weaponsets. I’ve got ice/fire covered in daggers (or will have …), water again in Tsunami scepter w/ a scroll focus whose crystals match the scepter colour, and mystic dagger which matches the teal (air) when I go that route.

That leaves trident or staff for earth . Leaning toward mystic trident though not definite on that, which leaves an “earth” staff. So far I’ve been using the HoM skin because wood is kinda earthy, but I wonder if there is a better option.

What can you guys come up with for either staff or trident for an earth look? I’m hoping one of you has a better idea than mine.

Melandru’s Gaze maybe?
It’s not exactly an “earth” staff but tree theme should be close enough.

Yeah, that’s what I’m using now. So really the only thing that makes people think “earth” is the plant-type stuff so far.

Keep em coming though. If you can think of a good “earth” weapon for something other than staff or trident, I’m open to that too.

Melandru’s Gaze works very well for me as an Earth themed staff, mainly because Melandru is the goddess of earth. It helps that my ele’s a human of course.

If you can read this then it is proof that ArenaNet’s moderators just, kind and fair.

Destroyer Staff is kind of earthy, being they come from underground and its all lava-y and obsidian-y.

Etched Branch is earthy in that its got animal horns on it.

Melandru’s Gaze is a classic for the Earth theme.

Sovereign Pillar has kind of an Aztec style theme going for it, and might fit the bill.

Wolfborn Staff is also kind of Earth or Nature-y with the brambles and wolf head.

I like the Pearl quarterstaff for an earth theme. Looks nice and looks like it is made out of stone.

Any of the Sylvari cultural weapons have an “earth” feel. Verdent or Warden.

Yanno, I am a fan of the pearl weapons too (blues and teals are my favorite colours) but hadn’t considered the mosaic as being stone. I might just go with that.

If it’s not too late, you could try the Modniir Quarterstaff? It’s got earthen tones and organic shapes, and a cute pink fire at the tip. I rock it on my ele!
You can find it as a heart karma item from one of the Harathi Hinterlands NPCs, I don’t remember which one. Alternatively, you could be like me and accidentally buy it as the Pillar of Ulgoth for 6 gold before finding out the skin itself is much…. much cheaper…
