Another skill suggestion post
Imho the most useless elementalist core skills are
1. Tornado
2. Signet of Water
3. Arcane Power
4. Arcane Shield
5. Conjure Earth ShieldQuick fix ideas:
1. Tornado- ground target instead of transform. Or, if that’s too OP in conquest, make it a summon-able, kill-able NPC that moves around and does tornado things. I would love either of these for WvW so much.
2. Signet of Water- switch the active and passive effects. So, on active, removes damaging conditions. Passive, works as a Signet of Hydromancy.
3. Arcane Power- The 5 attacks are unblockable and un-evadable as well. For freaking perma-evade-block thief, guard and revenant
4. Arcane Shield- Definitely a CD reduction
5. Conjure Earth Shield- Gives classic Diamond Skin (no conditions >90% health) to bearer
1. I really like this idea, but both sound kind of OP, since you would be able to still attack or use regular skills while you have a massive CC spam in a place. Maybe if they add 1 sec reflect when you activate Tornado skill 1, Condi cleanse in #2, and healing blast on #3.
2. I don’t have any ideas for the water signet, since I like it as is. But condi cleanse is always good, and the reason why ppl use the shout with the condi cleanse rune on shout.
3. This would help a LOT, blast ele was one of the first nerf the ele got, and this would make the skill a lot better.
4. You are right again! the CD is too long for what this skill actually does. Part of me want this skill to absorb all the dmg for 3 sec and send it back at the enemy after the 3 sec but I think it could be OP.
5. Best suggestion in the list imo, and it would make conjure wep be used, since quite frankly I think they are boring as hell, and I actually wish they would eliminate them and give them to me as actual wep for my ele. (obviously this will never hap since they would have to design skills for wep/element)
