Just a quick question i was wondering about.

Those who play Sylvari elementalists, what “skin” color did you go with, regardless of gender, and why?

Im really curious , and i wanna see if my observations and theory are true

Here’s my Silvari Ele. So what is your theory?

The theory is that a lot of sylvari elementalists are pale/white.
Your sylvari is one of them.

Anyone else?

Interesting theory… Not sure if your theory is accurate or not, but I’m curious also. By the way, here’s mine.

btw i also made a frosty skinned sylvari ele, but thats just cause im using it as a challenge character where i have to go trough all shiverpeak zones from lvl 1-80 and no other zones.

So i thought id make him frosty looking considering he " awakened and wondered off to slay a dragon (champion of jormag)"

My ele is not a sylvari but i’d go with pale skin too, is easier to combine with other dyes and probably gives a “mystic” vibe the green doesn’t, so i think those are the reasons.

Meet Eirrewen, my Sylvari Ele
she’s blue because her name means “Blessed Snow” in Welsh
And blue is my favorite color.

Plus my fiance has a blue Sylvari Ele, and that may have effected my enjoyment of them because he’s pretty.

I went with dark colors for the skin, but her hair is white.

My sylvari ele is winey red

I have a guildmate whose main is a sylvari elementalist. We call him the Purple Plant. That should give you an idea about what his color theme is..

My Elementalist is a Sylvari, Ash black skin and hair, with glowing orange/red highlights. He’s a primarily Fire/Staff Ele, so I thought the smouldering embers look would go quite well.

well having so much choices in color is pure joy.
at this sylvari I went for something bright and colorful… simply because the elementalist is a bright and coloful class itself =)

Not particularly elementalisty, but whatever. If I hadn’t gone with the plant theme. I would have designed him to match one of the four elements, so blue, red/orange, or whitish skin.

made me lol, the emperor title is the icing on the cake.

I have one being leveled slowly.

She is lighter green with red rose hair, (no screens on different computer) because I based her off a thorny rose.

I’m a green Sylvari, felt true to the plant theme.

You should unlock that Plasma Sword in case ele gets sword in the next Xpac.

If ArenaNet was going to make sylvari dragon minions, I figured I might as well go all the way…

(For the purpose of your theory, the blue is skin colour)

I am using a natural plant brown & green with red as the hair colour

I change the colours of her armour for each season though (see some pictures; could not find the last red & golden autumn look)

this is my salad he’s red because most red plants are poisonous. so i wanted to show off his deadlyness. lol…hes 3 years old now and has become my main.

My female sylvari ele:
Red hair
peach eyes
green skin
red skin pattern
orange glow
white gold/heather/spearmint for clothes.
orchid boots&helmet skin
snapdragon coat&leggins skin
loop of tempest. (in white gold)

My sylvari elementalist has dusk colored skin and white spiky leaf hair because I was creating him to look similar to Fenris from Dragon Age.

my ele is one of only two sylvari i have, and yep she is pale, good theory! XD

I dont really consider my ele to be “pale”. I just really wanted a smurf sylvari, after seeing that blue color.

The second picture is of my second sylvari tempest, also blue but a shade more towards pale

Hilarilate to the party, but here’s my Sylvari Elementalist.

As you can see, she’s very blue.

My Sylvari Elementalist is a bit more “Sunny,” I was inspired by a particular nightmare court character that didn’t look ghostly or dark and brooding at all, they were actually quite colorful .. So here he is, hes pretty much my main, although I think my new (norn female) engineer will be competing for that spot eventually.

I fell back in love with the armor and decided why not match.

My Sylvari Ele, Autumnal Nightmare uses colors reflecting Autumn’s colors.

I only made my ele an asura to see the asura story, but until she hit 80 she leveled in the Verdant Executor outfit (the outfit that says “my main is a sylvari and I wish this toon was too”!) And her color scheme is dark burgundy red with peachy yellow accents.

My main Elementalist is an Asura.

But I did use a Sylvari for testing Tempest during the HoT betas. And she was bright red with pale blue hair.

I can’t stand white Sylvari. You’re playing the most colorful race in the game and you make them white? How drab.

My main since the headstart. Since he is master of all four elements I wanted to give him the name of an Avatar, but all were already taken. So I named him Zosin, after Firelord Sozin, or Zosin in the german dub.
