As the title says, do any of you PVE eles use full celestial? Currently I’m running full zerker and if I need to live, I switch to knights. I’ve been thinking of making a set of celestial but I’m wondering how well it actually works in PVE. Will I lose tons of DPS and hit like a wet noodle while gaining hardly any more survivability? Looking for what people who have a set and have used it feel.

Stay as you are, with full zerk. If you swap to celestial, you will, as you put it, “lose tons of DPS and hit like a wet noodle.” I love that description =D

You sure loose DPS, but at the same time you dont die 2hits.

Dont go full celestial, maybe some armor parts+weapons, and zerk or Cavalier trinkets.

I have weapons (staff and d/d), amulet, and both rings celestial, everything else is zerker.
My stats are 3.2k attack, 42% crit chance, 75% crit dmg, 2.1k armor, 15k life w/o wvw buff. (30/0/0/20/20)
Weps and armor are not ascended, yet.

I think that the stats are pretty good, and i didn’t see much difference in dmg, when i had zerker weps and exotic zerker trinkets.

Ok so I’m gonna take it as I should just work on a zerker ascended set to replace my exo zerker set. I got zerker and celestial rings already and my staff is ascended zerker already.

I use celestial >.> in pve… (scepter focus).

mostly in fotm 40+:
Cliffside
Molten (expecially molten)
Mai trinn
Aetherblade
If pugs are really bad at shaman

or arah pugs at lupicus if ranged

Its more an alt set….but its extremely effective at recovering hopeless situations.
For ascended i plan to go in this order:

Zerk mesmer => celestial ele => zerk ele.
