Hey all,

I just got done building an apothecary-based condition D/D build using runes of perplexity, and thought I’d post it here for some feedback and constructive criticism. I’m fairly new to ele, and get the basics, but if I missed something be sure to let me know.

Looks good!

I feel it’s a bit overkill on the condi-clear side. I’d go 0/0/20/20/30. Earth majors are amazing.

Vitatlity is definitely a bit low as well, use dire trinkets for that.

Also one neat trick not many people know: you can use a sigil of tormenting in combination with a sigil of doom, since sigil of tormenting is bugged so that it doesnt share internal cooldowns with other sigils. That’s amazing for an ele since he desperately needs cover conditions.

Last one: when you’re in a situation where you don’t need mist form as much (e.g.: a duel), glyph of elemental power is amazing to keep burning up on people, and can be used for other conditions as well depending on the situation

I’m not a huge fan of healing power though, so if you’re okay with ditching most of it, here’s what I’d really suggest:

There’s enough crit/dmg in this setup (with the might stacks you should have from your combos and swaps) to deal with the occasional diamond skin ele, enough HP to eat a backstab combo, enough stability to guarantee a stomp or heal, enough cover conditions to negate many clears.

I was actually looking at making something very similar.

It uses a mix of dire and apothecary to reach my desired levels of vitality, toughness, and healing power while maintaining respectable condition damage. I don’t imagine you’ll be gaining very many stacks of might with this build so I feel it’s important to have a high baseline condition damage.

The sigil of bursting and the traits can be reworked at will. This is all theorycraft, but I feel it would perform at least decently. Essentially a different flavor of necromancer that trades condition killing power and raw tankiness for more of:

Crowd Control
Mobility
Condition Clearing
Healing Ability
Stability Access

Condition eles bassicaly won’t work because we can’t reapply big stacks/lots of condis fast enough. Unless you’re dueling someone who doesn’t have condicleanse at all… But that wouldn’t make sense
