Arcane Shield CD Reduction not on trait
It was surely overperforming. I also like how it was overperforming to grant 20% boon duration to other weapons than warhorn on Imbued Melodies.

Arcane shield wouldn’t be OP if it were on a 20s CD. I mean, engineers can get gear shield as a 3s block every 20 (or 14s traited), but eles can only block THREE attacks every 60s?!?!
It is kind of like Arcane power: Eles could take the utility to make a measly kittens crit every kitten , or everyone can just take the sigil that makes 3 skills crit every 10s. Whatever, maybe after letting the class sit in the pvp dumpster for a year they will fix it.
This will most likely come by way over-buffing some trait like they did with warriors and adrenal health. Maybe they will make the water minor that heals for 1500 instead give a full health bar, which will be necessary with the complete lack of defense/toughness.

Also, Final Shielding now auto-procs when hit below 25%. Since ele is just a gimmick a burst or die first-person-shooter game where you are constantly at a disadvantage and die to a stiff breeze, can we at least make this trait proc at 35% or 40%?

Arcane Shield: The cooldown of this skill has been reduced from 75 seconds to 60 seconds. This change is not carried through to Final Shielding.

But that doesn’t explain the reason why they kept it so….. if Arcane Shield warrant a buff because it was mediocre, why not do the same for the trait? What logic is in that?
There are a ton of similar – but more effective – traits for other classes, but ours needs to stay the worse – and even worse that the actual skill it mimics?
