I’ve been messing around with some builds for an elementalist and was wondering if conjured weapons are able to hold up against regular weapons, like are they viable weapons? I would enjoy using the frost bow and fiery greatsword. Are they good to use as regular weapons?

frost bow I would say yes but only for the skill no. 3, 4 and 5.
Fiery Greatsword used to be very viable but not so much anymore.

I’ve had PUG dungeons where the people demanded an Ice Bow for every boss, so some people think it’s worth running. I know Lightning Hammer builds used to be popular, but i don’t know if LH was nerffed like Fiery Greatsword.

With the cool downs though, I’m not sure if you can rely solely on conured weapons.

I still use lightninghammer in almost every solobuild, its good AoE damage, 2, 4,5,3 and 1,1,1, etc till they are death… Its quite effective for a true mellee option..

Also you can use 5,3 as an extra crowd controll…

But most of all its fun…

they’re all really nice, and I use them regularly
though 90% of the time I use the axe it’s just for the mobility, though the dps is pretty good for its range

I would use Conjures all the time in solo PvE if I didn’t have to worry about every random dude coming along and taking my 2nd set of charges.

After leveling two elementalists with people stealing my 2nd hammer I only do the standard Frost Bow bit now for destroying large objects/bosses.

Lightning hammer is pretty good that 1 auto chain is a blast finisher that blinds not to mention the other skills. Icebow for stated reasons. Axe is pretty ehh, shield has its uses but its pretty far and in between that youll ever use it.
