Stability doesn’t make you immune to cripple and chill. Only stuns, knockbacks, pulls, daze.
I prefer cleansing flame over this, cripples/chills/imob get me killed, stability is of no use then (the protection helps but not enough). Plus it does damage and has a shorter cooldown.
Armor of Earth plus 30 points in Water
Water III Soothing Disruption Cantrips grant you regeneration and vigor.
Water XI Cleansing Water Remove a condition when granting regeneration to yourself or an ally.
25 point Water Bountiful Power Deal 2% more damage for each boon on you.
That all adds up to Armor of Earth breaks stun, cures a condition, and grants 4 boons, which adds 8% damage.
I find it very useful.
Ya, I’m not fully convinced about the stability side of it either. Seems like I still get interrupted a hell of a lot even when it’s up.

Stability works, just go to WvW, armor up and Churning earth a group. Easy enough to get people to try to knock you when you do that.

I know it works, but I do get interrupted quite a bit still even with armor of earth on. Maybe I’m just getting boon sheared and not noticing.

Armor of Earth is useful if you want to cast a long ability with unwanted interruption. To my issue, it was probably too many thing going on that everyone was hitting me with all sore of abilities. I’m always the one charge into the zerg and break them.

Well, Stability is a boon and those can get stripped off. Generally that’s the first thing you think of when you see someone with obvious stability like Plague Form or Armor of Earth.
It definitely stops knockdowns. I’ve been leveling my Ele in AC and it’s a life saver against those Scavengers that knock you down and then beat you to death.
