Hello Everyone,

What is the “best” ascended dagger recipe for pvp purpose. Is it wup wup recipe (razor)?
Also for armor is it also wup wup?

I would really appreciate if someone could help me out. I am confused with all those ascended recipes.

He might be talking about WvW you know… there IS PvP there despite people claiming there isn’t.

And yes OP – Wup Wup is the celestial stats for ascended.

PvP is PvP, not necessarily sPvP. Case in point, he meant WvW. As for b"best" armor, I agree with you on that.

When somebody asks for build or gear choices on a forum it’s most likely they’re looking for a well rounded cookie cutter build they can just slap on (a.k.a. metabattle build). And while there may not be a ‘best’ armor there are definately stronger and weaker choices.

I can’t imagine why you would get banned on the forums. Mods be crazy.

All my daggers and staff are knight’s (Beigarth’s) because every build I make has a couple pieces of knight’s gear in it to get an acceptable amount of toughness.

Berzerker is also a good choice b/c most builds have at least a couple pieces of zerk.

I try to pick my weapons, armor, and back-piece to result in the most generic build possible (basically capture the minimum toughness/vit possible) so that I can customize it to acceptable builds with just trinkets (which are way cheaper).

I always make Zojja (Berserker) weapons because they’re very easy to universally work into just about any character.
