Guild Wars 2

Is it only me, or is it that human animations seem a bit smoother for magnetic grasp/leap and earthquake? I recognized that shock aura on human shooks the screen a little bit while nothing happens on an asura.
I play as an asura d/d ele, and I feel like there are some awkward delays between earthquake switch water then frozen burst which were carried out quite fluently on a human ele…
and asuras fly when they use magnetic leap, I sometimes wonder if they hit or not… using other skills after magnetic leap feels quite umm.. how to put it… cut off? like u’re having up to 20 combos then after the leap u start over from 1…
maybe my fingers are just bad :/

My main toon since the 3 day Head Start was an Asuran Engi. I had +4,000 hours on the little fella, but when the Scrapper was introduced into the game, I was so disappointed with the animations that I deleted (sniff) my long time little buddy and rolled a human Engi. Since then, I’ve not rolled anything but Humans (and one Norn).

I’m currently leveling an Asura Elementalist (level 5) since I do love the clownish antics of their animations. But, I’m noticing the same thing that led me to delete the Engi.
Melee and close ranged animations of Asurans are poorly done (imho). I found myself swinging my hammer at air way to often with the Scrapper, and it gets even worse in the thick of battle with all the blurred AOE animations of others. I can’t see what’s going on.

if asurans didn’t FLIP or FLOP, I would have made a half dressed female human ele

yeah human ele lands a stab to the feet with magnetic leap and asuras just jump to the target and who knows what happened :/

No race carries a GS like an Asura. Period.
