I’m definatley going to make a Elementalist but i’m deciding if i should be a Asura or a human, what looks better?

Depends on what you like.

Although i would say you´ll need to consider that already not so eye catching caster weapons are even smaller on asura making them rather hard to be noticed…

Human Female hands down.

I made an Asura male just to be desperate on the difference of the quality of light clothing on male and female.

And the weapon sizes are too small on Asuras and for the staff it goes through your ears. Oh my ears.

I love my asura but I wish I could have some slightly more feminine clothing, I think jumping puzzles are easier as an asura… Just go for whoever you like the look of for years to come :p

The hitboxes are the same.

However the asura gets a lot less attention in wvw

I have an asura, I love the voice work when changing attunements and I love his spell animations, however I am into the vanity aspect of the game (as a lot of gamers are) and it’s really hard to see my flashy weapons and armor as a little asura, but that’s what my norn warrior is for!

So my vote, personally, would have to be:
Asura if you are going for personality (and stealthiness in WvW compared to larger races)
Any other large race, if you are going for vanity and really want people to see how flashy you are.

But really.. I love my Asura
He is one handsome little devil!

I wish I could give my male asura a race and sex change. Everything to me just look’s better on female human’s. I didn’t realize this to I nearly got to 80.

I picked human because I thought the smaller character model for the asura would make my cool armor and weapons less noticeable.

Asura have the best animations in the game hands down. However, their armor designs leave a lot to be desired imo, and the humans just get way better options as far as looks go. Weapons and armor are more noticable on a human so if you want to show off human is the way to go.

Asura does have the added benefit of being smaller in WvW but it’s not a game-changer or anything.

IK pretty much exclusively play asura… lol have an asura warrior and elementalist.. plus every new character i make to toy with a new profession is an asura, its just what i prefer

Well, if you don’t wanna be a slave when the New World Order comes to be, then Asura it is.

Using skills like Lightning Flash (=teleport) are a lot cooler as an Asura.

I played an Asuran Elementalist to 80, then saw a human female Elementalist with some gorgeous armor. That day I started one myself and when that one got to 80, deleted the Asura. I mourned, but then recreated her as a Warrior

Armor just doesn’t look at nice on Asura (in my opinion), and I want to see my gear/weapons. Plus, as many have mentioned, human females make everything look so kitten good.
