Aura skill on Trident
I agree, but don’t remove crowd control to add our Aura. Crowd control is one of the few things we do well underwater (where the rest is terrible).

Yeah, I avoid underwater combat if at all possible on my Ele. It’s just painful.

I wasn’t suggesting that. Read slower or go try out earth 3 then come back and edit your . post.
There are a number of traits that become worthless underwater (Evasive Arcana and Blasting Staff, to name a few). At least Powerful Auras works with Fire’s Embrace, underwater.
What I really wish is that Powerful Auras worked with ALL auras, including combo field/leap finisher auras (eg, Boiling Water > Tidal Wave) and Arcane Resurrection – now that would be fun
I find Earth 3 to be rather useful, especially for using Earth 1, Earth 2, Air 1, and Fire 5 (because they’re more effective the closer you are to your target). It also makes a good skill to be used with Elemental Surge / Arcane Power to imobilize your target (in addition to yourself, which I agree, is rather unfortunate).

Just don’t change any water and air skills on trident. They’re all awesome.
Maybe fire for fireshield or earth for magnetic aura since I almost never use almost half of the skills on those attunements.
