Ele was my first 80, yada yada now im back full circle, making my 9th toon and its a new ele. Really enjoying Ele again, but im unsure whats popular for PVE/WVW these days. Zerk? Mix of Zerk and other stuff? Full celest?

For PvE full zerk is the way to go.

For WvW you mix zerks with ptv.

Depends on what you want to be.

Staff? SnD? The classic balanced DnD? The DnF meta, The condi ele? The full bunker, The Diamond skin ele? The fresh-air build ele? The auramancer build ele? The glass ele that dies alot ele? :P

My suiggestion is to start with

Staff
SnF
DnD
DnF
DnS

and then make your choice.

D/F celestial cantrip slinger build + lava axe for ranged, it also gives might on auto attack
