Bad balance logic, read inside.
this bothers me as well, anet wants to “tone down ele healing” to level of what other classes have, except they seem to have missed fact that we’ve got that healing because we’ve sacrificed 20-30 points into healing trait line
basically they want healing orientated build to heal as much as utility/damage builds of other classes… good thinking anet (actually it’s not – just saying in case you though I was praising you)
Yeah and 30 points in Water and Vitality on every piece of gear still brings us up to the base HPs of a naked warrior.
Do they even understand WHY elementalists have to build the way they do? And what exactly do we get in return for our lowest base health and lowest base armor?
Personally I’m getting sick of games that nerf fun PvE play in favour of PvP.
I could see the point if the entire game was PvP but it isn’t.

I would recommend the following for Anet: get 1 player of each class with a balanced build against Melandru boss and see who dies the most and is the hardest to play. I can guarantee you its the staff elementist.
