Guild Wars 2

After looking at the equipments for ele, i was wondering is it better to go for power/tough/heal or tough/heal/+boon?

I figure pure healer u would go for the clerics, but is the extra healing worth the sacrifice in building healer/+boon (switching attun., proc’ing protection/regen/etc.)? I can imagine having protection or retaliation on you and your allies for 3-5 extra sec’s can add up.

Plus, since ppl either have to sit in ur healing pools or you have to aim where they r going to end up and place them their, I figure just popping out boon that last a long time would be easier to support with?

Idk… I just dont want to waste my money on the tough/heal/+boon gear if it’s not even worth it.

Even if you spec for healing you will still need to do some damage. With 30 arcane, food, and water runes you can have 90% boon duration close enough to the 100% max. Also try signet of restoration with a cleric build. Since you will have permanent regen(+300hps), that extra 400 heal everytime you hit a enemy increase your survival against direct dmg even more.
