Getting reeeally tired of our kitten being bugged, the #2 skill on scepter Shatterstone is bugged, sometimes it wont cast sometimes it will cast but no animation.

The skill starts, cast time bar fills up but when its done no dmg nor animation shows.

Messed around with it a bit and I think its because right when it’s gonna cast the Water Autoattack starts and interrupts the cast. Therefor the skill cannot be interrupted by our other skills which makes absolutely no sense at all, how are we supposed to move around be mobile and keep up in a fast paced game with our skills interrupting eachother and some skills are just useless?

Tried it in fractals alot and its very kittening annoying to have to let the cast bar fill up all the way even though its only 1 second, it barely takes half a second for a group of enemies to kill you. If it’s supposed to be this way I think it’s just useless because of it’s veryveryVERY low dmg and I dont care about the Vulnerability because it wont even cast.
These types of skills should be like the #2 skill on staff Earth Eruption, It has a long cast time but it allows to be interrupted therefor making it a great skill to do combo fields with and still casts.

If there’s other skills like these please be free to comment about them so Arenanet can use their time to fix them.

There have been multiple topics about this. The bug is as such: Qued skills interrupt Shatterstone and Firewall (focus 4 fire).

There is a work around, though it has gotten me killed several times, Turn off auto attack (ctrl-click skill 1) of water (for shatterstone) and fire (for firewall) and don’t cast ANYTHING until the skill appears on the ground. Also remember that you won’t be auto attacking so you have to press 1 when needed. For added chance of this working, don’t change attunement to one that has auto attack turned on.

Other bugs:
Signet of Air, someone mentioned that this doesn’t work correctly with Written in Stone. I can confirm this. It appears as though Anet hardcodes all values instead of using a variable system, so written in stone is still going off the 20 / 16 cd of sig of air instead of 30/24 sec that it is now. The other signets appear to be unaffected by this bug.
