Hey all,

So I have been doing a few Tourneys lately as a bunker ele, having a blast and I am able to do very well at it so far.

I just have one question for any bunkers out there.

I am running cleansing flame, mist form, and armor of earth (standard set up), running 30 arcane, evasive arcana (which is still pretty decent), final shielding, and ele attunement. I am running 30 water and 10 earth.

Now I am trying to decide over cleansing waver (remove condition on water attune) and the cantrips 20% cd reduction. I am running cleansing wave now. Does the grandmaster water trait cleansing water stack with cleansing wave? where it removes 2 conditions on water attunement? In my experience it does, but I havent been able to test or pay too much attention to it, due to constantly fighting multiple players, and unsure if i have been receiving condition removal from my guardian buddy at the same time as when i have tried to pay attention to it. Would it be more beneficial to run the contrip mastery for the cantrip cd reduction for more frequent cleansing flames, as well as removal from armor of earth and most form usage? Or better to run Cleansing Water? I am using all 3 can trips so it would be a big help, but removing poison is my first and foremost concern and it is usually covered pretty well by the classes that are made for anti bunkering.

This is the only indecision I am having in my build right now, if anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone have any preferences over cantrip mastery or cleansing wave?

Actualy discussing builds here is rather hard if you don´t start with flammatory post.

Personaly i can´t contribute too much as i don´t play spvp all that often. The removal does stack so it´s 2 conditions removed with swap if you pick cleansing wave.
Not sure which is optimal though, most likely you´ll have to just try and see which suits your playstyle better.

I usually take cantrip mastery. I use the removal of condition when attuning to water in pve. in pvp i use the cantrips to build up might or give me regen (which in returns allows me to use armor of earth or lightning flash to remove a condition off me). Also branching off, first tier of fire allows 3 stacks of might per cantrip you trigger. So having that 20% cool down reduction really is a blessing.

I run:
- Earth’s Embrace, Elemental Shielding
- Cleansing Wave, Soothing Disruption, Cleansing Water
- Elemental Attunement, Final Shielding

I like the double cleanse with water attunement swap, you can switch while feared and necro -boon are a plague to me.

If you already have Cleansing Flame for condition stacks, then I’d say 20% cooldown reduction would be better. It’ll give you (even more) stunbreakers, some added damage and more mobility. The added conditions removal would be redundant.

If you can read this then it is proof that ArenaNet’s moderators just, kind and fair.
