Can we take a look at Weak Spot?
Considering that Air line is mostly used by zerker/marauder spec, i would change vulnerability with weakness for morse sustain.
Btw yeah, the worse grandmaster trait ever xD
It´s in the wrong place in air. It is more support when you use a condi build. For air power builds its realy weak and air is about critical damage ….
A swap with empowering flame would work here.
It gives a bit more. At 60% crit: 5 on dagger aa and 6 on scepter aa average.

Probably in PvE. I was talking to sPvP mostly without thinking too much about PvE.
It’s only weak if you’re not running Piercing Shards. If you’re running Piercing Shards on Staff then it’s amazing. Just cast your meteor and attune to water.
Yeah, what Xillix said. It’s a pretty powerful trait, to be honest. I use it with Piercing Shards in the Air/Water/Tempest staff build I run in PvE.
You can stack all your fire fields to build up a decent sized vulnerability stack and then switch to water to boost the damage by 20% for the last few seconds of the fields.

Yeah, not only piercing shards, I would add any multi-hit skill such as Lightning Orb, and Lightning Storm… Air Overload is also multi-hit stacking several vulnerabilities.
I consider Piercing Shard in my judgement of the trait. So far, weakspot is only good because it allows to apply a stack of vulnerability. That is all.
The multi hits ability will not go above 6 stacks. For a grandmaster minor.

Yeah but the 20% modifier only requires 1 stack to work. I mean a buff to 2 stacks per crits would make the trait worth using (or 1 stack but 100% chance) with other lines than water but with all the failed stuff (like our crappy elites and the crippled down fire line) I don’t think it’s on the list of priority by anet.

Well that would be the problem with Anet… Nothing is on the priority list.

I was testing pvp, ofc you have to keep hitting.
I don’t think its too bad for a minor trait. If it were a major, then yah, it’d be extremely undertuned.
It could still use a bit of a buff, though. I’d personally favor a longer-lasting Vuln rather than increasing the stacks per application. 8 seconds perhaps, maybe even 10.
