Just wanted to get the theorycrafting started on celestial staff ele in PvP.

I’m confident enough that we should be Water/Arcana/X w/ cantrips as before, but the third specialization plus the choices of some individual traits could make an interesting discussion.

So let’s assume we’re taking Water/Arcana w/ Soothing Disruption, Cleansing Water, Renewing Stamina, and both EAs. Let us also assume Lightning Flash and Armor of Earth as utilities.

I’m curious about the following:

Stop, Drop, and Roll or Soothing Ice?
Elemental Contingency or Final Shielding?
Third Specialization?
Ether Renewal or Signet of Restoration?
Cleansing Fire or Mist Form?
Elite?
Runes?
Sigils?

My current build:

S,D, and R — Soothing Disruption ICD feels too long and apparently the regen isn’t proccing Cleansing Water at the moment. I also think S,D, and R has the highest ceiling.

Elemental Contingency

Earth Specialization w/
Earth’s Embrace
Rock Solid — a slight preference over Geomancer’s Training, but I like the extra stability for channeling both Meteor Shower and Ether Renewal (and stomps and etc)
Diamond Skin -- I may be alone, but I haven’t been that impressed with Stone Heart. One can only camp Earth attunement for so long. To be fair, Diamond Skin isn’t that impressive either, but I do enjoy running through wells at full health.

Ether Renewal

Mist Form — It’s been a while since I’ve used this utility, but with the extra condi removal from S,D, and R along with Diamond Skin ignoring some initial condis I feel like it’s a good choice.

Fiery Greatsword

Traveler’s — I wanted to try more boon duration since we now have extra boons from both Elemental Contingency and Rock Solid.
