I despise the whole lets just spam all of our skills until something kills the other dude except our cantrips we save those for something speshul playstlye of the cele ele. i dont care what weapon i dont care if its bunker or zerker but someone link me a build that neither runs the cele amulet or requires me to give up my job to master it to the point that it overcomes its gigantic weaknesses. please i really dont wanna go back to being warrior scum -_-

anything that doesnt either get roflstomped by a small breeze or deals less damage than ele’s signit heal can keep up with

The OP is a ranger and is complaining everywhere in game about ele’s. He laid into me the other night in sPvP because I was playing an ele and verbally abused me the entire time because I kept killing him. I would just disregard what he is saying to be honest as it holds no value considering the game play involved.

For a little perspective, he got mad that I killed him in cele gear the first match. Then I switched to condi spec the second match, and he got mad that I killed him in ‘cele gear’. The third match I switched to soldiers for giggles and killed him again and he spent the entire time telling me I was bad and all I did was spam buttons and that d/d was easy mode. I then switched to this account to see if he was doing it to ‘any’ ele that killed him and proceeded to get verbally abused after I killed him on a scepter build because I was in cele armor. I then switched to a scepter/focus condi build and killed him again the next match I saw him in…. and you guessed it, got verbally abused.

So umm yeah….

Most class just run full Berserker (Mesmer, ranger, Thieves, warriors) so they shouldn’t be surprised that a class that run celestial and bunker can out-sustain them once their burst damage has been avoided.

Instead of placing all your points in Berserker longbow for example to kill eles and engis pressing 2 buttons, place them in defense and we will have an harder time to kill you, if you can dodge.

thats actually not me…. i have a ranger but its lv 17 named pridesenvy and has only played a couple of practice matches. the only classes i have played spvp in recently is mesmer and ele

funny i got called cheese after beating a d/d ele on my cele spirit ranger. lol

this game is about who can stack might quicker and burst heal faster.

Yeah “Cheese” is a dumb term. I admit some builds annoy the crap out of me, but this game has become all about such cheese. It’s time we adapt and overcome, you know? If that means roaming as PU or some crap, oh well. (I don’t roam as PU but just saying.)

I don’t mind celestial but is there any way I can be in celestial without spamming boons? I hate tying my builds down around single mechanics that normally put me in very abusive situations against certain classes (thieves/necromancers).

I just recently finished my celestial necromancer (by recently I mean like half a year ago) and I have to say that it’s the best build I ever created and I’m wondering if I can have such luck with my elementalist.

What kind of thread is that? of course you can play something else. Who or what prevent you to play anything else but Celestial? I don’t play Celestial and I don’t want to. It is so funny when people automatically assume I’m Celestial when they see me just because I’m an ele.

You can. I didn’t realize how successful my personal crafted Ele build was until I began playing other classes. I wanna make a video for it eventually and see what the community thinks, but for now I stick to pms. So if you wanna see what I came up with, lemme know!

I’ve once been told I’d been reported for playing Cele and he’d follow the report until it worked. I lolled hard and spent the rest of the game chasing him down and killing him. We had a steady advance so my teammates didn’t mind
