Is it only me? cause i noticed churning earth only adds bleeding effect and do 0 dmg when goes off.

Tried many different foes/areas and its all the same.

Have you checked the combat log as well?
Because I noticed that sometimes the damage number is not visible, but you’ll se it in combat log and it was actually done.

To answer your question it does do the damage, but the display bar doesn’t show up for some reason.
