Classic DnD specs
For d/d i am thinking 6 fire is a must and auras for the most part beyond there build in effects are dead for fury generation. Having the ability to get fury from blasting fire fields for dagger/ any thing is out right op its both build in aoe and give you might ontop of making your fire fields last all the longer. I think the 6 fire 6 water 6 ar build will become the new stander d/d build for ele. For the all in dmg builds 6 fire 6 air 6 ar / or 6 water d/f or d/d will be the build.

What do we know about stats
6/0/6/6/0 and 0/6/0/6/6 are going to be meta for condi/power respectively.
We may see fire taken over air for Cele now. I have a suspicion its gonna be really good with cleansing flames/power overwhelming/burning ashes

The interaction of Soothing Ice + Elemental Shielding will make it the best bunker spec.
Diamond Skin and Geomancer’s Training just seem like the most relevant traits in Earth. Rock Solid could replace Geomancer’s Training in that build.
Since Elemental Contingency is now a Minor Trait, we now take Elemental Contingency + Evasive Arcana as the Major traits. Renewing Stamina remains the standard choice at that tier.
Cleansing Water plus Cleansing Wave for maximum condi clear.
Basically, what Eles have been running since forever, plus more power creep.

What do we know about stats
Well you go fire for fury every time you blast fire fields. As an d/d ele you would already be blasting fire and now you can get much more out of these blast to the point of perma fury. After the update having 700 condtion dmg seems to be the number to hit so if you can get cap might 25 stacks so 750 condtion dmg hitting the cap you can see non condtion dmg ele builds land burning skills that truly have an impacted in a fight.

Tried with a mix of cav/knights/zerk and celes with full cantrips and 03033 and was destroying everything.
Ran ER with full cantrip. Runes of hoelbrak and might swap is awesome. Downside. Very hard to fight 3v1.

A little bit it made me rethink synergies. F/W/A is really good, but kitten atm because blinding ashes didn’t change like it’s suppose to yet. I looked at earth/water/air the last trait kind of meh on choice there in earth. I’d say fury in fire fields is a must if your going fire and air for movement speed.
I think any kind of earth build with geomancer’s training and a focus is pretty good if you also take water and probably air. You get a projectile reflect and 3 condi clear every 161/2 sec.
I think gear has to be looked at hard again and from what we normally ran and a non arcana damage build is certainly possible to be good. Boon uptime isn’t what it use to be and with more stats on gear prot needed as much. I’d say hoelbrak runes on anything you run for WvW.
