Eles water trait – Cleansing Water in descriptions says – Removes a condition when granting regeneration to yourself or an ally. Pretty good trait I would say, but it only works with Healing Rain skill (Staff). That’s how it supposed to be? It’s kinda sad that trait works with ONLY ONE skill.

And in description there’s is nothing said about the Healing Rain, it says – granting regeneration – meaning any healing spell, or am I wrong?

“Regeneration” is refering to the boon. They’re is plenty of ways to grant regeneration. The most common for ele is attuning to water with elemental attunement.
I used to run dwayna’s rune which grant regeneration when using a healing skill.

But yeah, as you pointed out, only #5W staff (and #3W scepter) grant regen as ele weapon skill.

It’s about trait synergy.

Works best with cantrips, has some use with glyphs, and Elemental Attunement.

As a Staff Ele with the correct support/defensive build, you will gain Regeneration from Soothing Ice, Elemental Attunement, Healing Rain, Any/All Cantrips, etc.

Yes. Any and all applications of regen remove a condition whether or not you already have the boon.

^ Which also means any outside source of regen is a condi cleanse to you as well.

Nope its regen YOU apply, not carring if it’s applyed to you or ally. If someone lets say a guard apply regen to you, it wont proc cleansing water

Yes, but with Cleansing Water trait active I see – Condition Removed: 2 (in blue color) only with 1 skill – Healing Rain. When looking at Undercurrent and Water Trident (they provide Regen) there’s nothing, only standard description.

And when attuning to water you get – Smoothing Mist and it’s a heal not a regeneration. So that trait doesn’t work.

you gain regen when you use a cantrip with that trait. you gain regen when you attune to water. healing rain will cleanse 2 condis because it cleanses 1 and the trait makes it cleanse another since the regen pulses.

The fact a tooltip doesn’t say something doesn’t mean it doesn’t work that way. Many tooltips are inaccurate.

Edit: But apparently it’s bugged with Undercurrent, so it doesn’t work.

After using staff 5 you can switch to earth and auto attack to grant regen

Cleansing water trait works well with SoR dnd cele builds.
