Yes, and the allies’ applications will be based on your stats. Their applications are also affected by your attunement.

So endless root chill or the super burn. That seems a bit much.
Dose duration effect it too?
It dose odd so ele is now the best support class for reapers i guess. Chill arcain power crits chill and crit dmg all rolled into one super crazy death ball or reapers / ele.

This is a very amusing change. It’s quite obviously overpowered, but so hilariously awkward to build around it’s kinda hard to exploit.
in PvE this can rock hard up to being OP. In PvP the 240 range requires good teamplay and the ele should be skilled. Its strong offensive support, something i realy like just got surprised about the way it was implememented … Awkward builds that actually work are what i like :-)

Yeah. I’m curious what you’re all thinking. The OP’s idea seems workable, but a bit of a waste of everything arcane spec offers.
Fully utilizing this skill would require condi damage, condi duration, power and crit damage. Seems pretty much impossible on a rounded build. I’m thinking ditch the condi aspect and just go power damage + condi duration. Probably on a staff build for meteor shower – earth swap – arcane power immob spam (with decent spacing between hits to not waste all the stacks). Picking trait lines and third utility is a nightmare though. You’d really want to fit afterschock, lightning flash and a stunbreak (mist or arcane shield imo). Water specialization seems mandatory, but fire or air are what makes staff worthwhile. Good thing is staff is naturally suited to group fights though.
’Tis a tough one.
Fitting arcane spec on a generic support tempest is also pretty tough, not to mention giving up a shout or stability.
Good old cele d/d will have a hard time squeezing much condi duration into a build, and has strong synergy with evasive arcana and triple cantrip…

Arcane Power got a pretty major change in the latest patch. Earth does bleeding instead of immobilize, Air does Blind instead of Weakness. But most of all it can now share its effect with 5 other allies.
Sage’s Amulet has condition damage and power, Rune of Balthazar has the condition duration and Arcane Power has 5 guaranteed criticals.
I suppose you could change the Feel the Burn to something else though, such as Armor of Earth or Arcane Shield.

You’re confusing it with the glyph. Arcane power still has burn chill blind immob. Elemental surge still does to be correct.

Yeah GoEP is a little too weak at its current state IMO. I don’t know any real use for it other than in PvE.

well traited GoEP ist a 20s stunbreaker that does add a condie burst and a boon. Maybe the untraited version is a bit weak but not shure.

Sadly only fire is worth it with GoEP now removing weakness and cripal from it was not a good ideal. Over all removing its icd per person and stronger version of condis and going more over a charge system was a realty bad ideal. Arcain power only works because its aoe now but charges on an aoe class dose not work out well.
Its like they made arcain viable for one utility and one utility only. Its odd that they would do this when the other arcain skills are one hit. The differences is kind of crazy.

Sage doesn’t scale that well with auras and heal so I swapped WtPA with Signet of Restoration and Tempest 3/2/3 to 2/2/3. If going Focus do Water 1/2/1.
And it was nerf but they just simply nerfed the full line of arcain utility not just arcain power (all though i think chill on reapers is far better then they burn could ever be well for wvw.)
