I’ve been thinking about conjured weapons and the trait. Yeah, it’s nice to have 10 more charges, but they go to waste really fast/easily because of the auto attacks of most conjured weapons.
How about if the auto-attack chains counted as 1 use, rather than 3? just a suggestion. i don’t see it happening soon, seeing as Christmas is right around the corner and ppl got stuff to do and all that…

but yeah…a little change to conjured weapons in the future? maybe? maybe not.

That won’t fix conjured weapons.
Conjured weapons need a redesign from the ground up.

Gray out the HP for future condition damage
Already quit PvP. Just log in here and there to troll.

hmm…maybe. maybe lightning hammer. but i absolutely love the blast finisher on auto-attack.
Frost bow is okay…kinda
im not sure about earth shield. (only for fortify)

i think a re-work might help…dunno for sure.
But i just thought of something: make conjurer a master/probably a grandmaster trait and when u picked it up, your weapon skills were replaced, as well as utilities. but u’d still have healing utility. +15 more charges… meh

It would be reasonable to even give fewer charges base and let AA not count towards charges. That might help people who want to play a conjure build.

However, most conjures I use (meaning frost bow and FGS) are used for 2-3 skills then promptly dropped. Using them more consistently should be viable.

Instant appearance in-hand of ele could be a fair change too. Every skill cast-time is balanced around having the conjure out already, so having to cast the whole-kit destroys their use for utility situations. This is why nobody uses earth shield still. Defensive utilities are used reactively – when you need them. When you would need an earth-shield skill you don’t have time to cast it and then start-casting the skill. If you try that, you’re probably dead.

I think they were really scared, once again, of giving eles anything strong, so they put just about EVERY limitation on conjures they could (cast time, charges, weapon recharge). With all those drawbacks, they have to make the skills OP to see any use (see frost bow 4)

The problem I see is: what if you only get part-way through an AA chain? LH chain has 3 attacks – what if you’re interrupted on the 2nd attack? Will you still lose a charge, as if you had actually completed the entire chain? A better solution would be just to give conjurers more charges, either more as the base of make the trait give more than it already does. I can see this having an effect on the LH, but not on ice bow or FGS – if you’re spec’ed into Conjurer already, the timer usually ends before the 25 charges do.
