Hey guys, I’m not sure of this has been suggested yet but I had an idea to make conjured weapons a viable option and hopefully keep them balanced. 

Firstly remove the second weapon that drops down. 

Keep the charges but increase the amount eg 100. 

Each skill on the conjured weapon is given it’s own charge cost eg give fiery great sword 5 a cost of 20. 

When the weapon is dropped the cooldown the skill receives is based on the amount of charges left eg 80 charges on FGS .20x 3 min = 36 seconds. 

Change the conjured traits so that while the conjured weapon is in use charges are able to recharge. Not entirely sure what the recovery rate should be.  

In my opinion this would help immensely. It means that using the weapon for one skill would be viable but also means that you can get slapped with the entire cooldown if you use all charges up.

Now conjures have long cast time (stun self).. and kill many opportunities.
Simple Conjures must be inside one glyph. Else Conjure elem lose all other utilities.

whenever i use a conjure in a combat situation i use about 3 skills and than drop the weapon quickly. when your 2-3-4-5 skills are on cooldown you would be pretty silly to continue firing the nr1 autoattack

Well hopefully the change I’m proposing would fix that in theory you could use the conjure for a specific attack on like FGS 5 and drop it to switch to earth and immobilize them in the aoe with dagger earth 3. Meanwhile the conjure is only given a 40 second cooldown. Which is in line with other elementalist long cooldown abilities. However of for instance you needed to engage in a ranged fight and used all the charges up you would be given the full 3 min cooldown.

The whole idea is to make the conjures flow better. As far as I see it we should be using conjures to replace a weapon swap. Currently this is possible but it just doesn’t have a good flow to it.

That’s the biggest problem with conjures. They have a couple okay skills on them you’d like to use, but it’s not worth locking out all of your skills for and it definitely isn’t worth sitting in the weapon waiting on cooldowns to come back up for.

What this guy said. You’re basically using up your utility slot for an ability isnide the conjure BUT you get double cast time because you have to activate the conjure and then the ability. And that’s with a 60s/180s CD.
At least making them instant cast would be great.

It’s a shame because it’d be really snazzy having a few conjures on your bar you could switch between to leap around (lightning hammer, 600 range leap 6s cooldown, earth shield, 600 range charge, 12s cooldown). While using the existing dagger stuff too. Hell FGS elite too. You could zip all over the place while doing your daily.

It wouldn’t actually be good for being competitive in tpvp or something, but it’d definitely be fun. Or maybe, gasp of all gasps, a traited conjure build might be worth using!

YES!! I am not sure about the balance, but this could be very fun! They don’t even need to be instant cast if they didn’t root you. It would fun to stay mobile while you call down your hammer/bow to respond to the situation, rather than just stand there and take it, so that you can get a weapon that might just make you stand there and take it. At least the bow is useful for destroying some structures.

Yeah, they are making Moa Morph able to cast on the move, why not FGS too?

This was actually one of the first things I thought about as soon as they talked RTL nerfs. Wonder how many people we’ll see out and about with lightning hammers now heh

Probably better since Leaps are boosted by swiftness.
Switch to air and leap away.

Yeah it’s pretty good for just roaming around doing dailies and stuff. I throw on the glyph heal for that to heal in air for swiftness.
