Let’s do a thought experiment because discussion on the forums is fun.

What kinds of builds do y’all see having potential in a zerg v zerg scenario, focused around or including conjures? What traits and skills would you go for?

I’ll post back with some of my own ideas once there’s been a few replies.

and then lightning hammer for another??
and then the hammer someone else picks up for yet another!

None of them if you are backline. Not even Ice Bow, because you can’t move during Ice Storm animation and you can’t break it early like Meteor Shower.

And because you will murder yourself with retal, while doing tickle damage to the enemy.

I’ve been thinking along the same lines. Lightning Hammer is actually really good for frontline (being very similar to Guardian Hammer). Lava Axe has slight potential with might stacking and fields, and FGS also sounds like it could be something.

Earth Shield has some useful tools, but not as useful as they could be, and Ice Bow just doesn’t mesh well with what WvW offers.

In regards to builds, what might work well? I could see LH Tempest with Shouts doing some interesting things. Pyro’s Puissance Fire Axe would probably find its ceiling in EotM for shenanegans. FGS might be able to go a little further.

FSG is such a great weapon i always use it in WvW. But its high cooldown kills it. I can´t use it in PvP due to this… In WvW after a fight i usually have those three minutes to recharge it ….
I also tried lava axe but the lost slot rarely pays off. I have 4 elements annyways.

earth shield ofc, the only stuff good for a non bunker ele in zerg vs zerg is extra vitality/toughness to run away with.
