Contestation.
Contestation is where you are contesting a capture point. When you enter an enemy’s capture point you begin to contest that point and they stop gaining points from it. If no enemies are around you will capture the point, but if enemies show up and remain inside the point with you then the point will be contested until one of you is killed or leaves the point.

Okay so even if there are 2 enemies on the capture point and only one of you, than you still make the enemy stop getting points?
Or will it become the color of the enemy that has most ppl on a capture point and can you only contest it if you have an equal number on that point?
A point can either be controlled or neutral.
From here it can be contested = someone (ex. Team Red) who doesn’t own the point is on it. During this time they will increase progress towards capture. If it is Blue, they will gain progress towards neutral (Decaping). If it is neutral they will gain progress towards Red (Capping)
From here it can be contested by another (Team Blue). When both Blue and Red are on the point the progress is frozen in place. It will not go either way even if 5v1, even if the player is in the downed state.
You will not gain capping progress faster with multiple people either. So don’t double cap points.
There are some abilities that remove your ability to contest points. These are usually invariability and stealth, most have it listed in the description of the spell. When this happens you will not be counted as a player standing on the point.
