I have been really reading a lot on the forums, taking what I like from builds, mixing and matching for my playstyle. I feel like I came up with a pretty well rounded build, with higher DPS potential then a lot of other builds that go really really heavy toughness, and kitten their damage so they can take more hits.
I feel this build requires you to play better by managing your own defenses via abilities/dodging. BUT, allows higher overall damage potential.
Let me know what you guys think, give advice(useful advice) and anything you suggest gear wise

Nah I’m just kidding. It looks pretty good. I bet you get decent might going with those runes and sigil. Personally if I’m running a cantrip heavy build I like to have 30 in water for cleansing water so cantrips regen and remove condis but thats just me … usually my attunement rate will suffer for it when I do. Ether renewal works fine most of the time. Any more condis and you’re destined to melt anyways.

More critiques please!
- Arcane Power is really weak
- You are lacking a strong vigor source or sigil of energy to fuel dodges, typically you want at least one of either
- When mixing sets you want to maximise stats; crit damage items should be on shoulders, gloves, boots, accessories and maybe rings with the other pieces holding non-crit damage gear
- Boon Duration Runes are much better than Runes of the Fighter for various reasons; it overall gives you more might, fury, swiftness, protection, regen and vigor uptime which is alot stronger than the power/tough/1 stack of might on heal from rune of fighter.
Slightly lower power since I replaced Runes of the Fighter but it will overall prolong your might stacks.

Time is something you cannot afford in a fight as a d/d ele. Anything you use that takes time had better pay-off. If you want to do the d/d ele thing, then you need to understand opportunity cost. What do you give up for what you get? The arcana line is a time sink. Think through a fight. Are those 30 traits points all working for you? Read the wiki about Arcane Power. Try to get 100% effective traits. You need extremely high power to pull-off d/d if you have no condition damage. My d/d ele used to get between 1.5-2k lightning whip on a crit with only 30% crit damage. Not anymore. All damage (direct, condition, crit) has been dropped A LOT for d/d ele. Listen to zencow.3651, maximize stats and make sure your build options work together.
