I just wanted to through this up, i solo joined(PUG’D) a tournament and just so happened to win. i fraps the 3rd round, and wanted some feed back and to just show how i play the D/D set.

I know i need to work on my Attun switching. I just bought a Logitech g600 yesterday and i have the attuns mapped to 4 of the 20 buttons on my mouse now.
That will come in time, but iskittenhard to clutch switch, lol.

Yea, youtube ate the other P’s. I recorded it in 720p. I’ll fix it this weekend when i have a little more time. Playing>Video Editing

Am I the only one that is really puzzled how his opponents made it into the third round? I guess once a lifetime you get so lucky that you fight teams with 3 DCs first AND second round.

Also, your aim seems to be off a lot. Your Drake Breath and Cone of Cold seem to miss a lot and you quite often needlessly use your Flaming Speed and completely miss it (the small fire trail barely does damage) and in general your positioning seems off. You fall off the platform at the Clocktower far to often.

The rest, meh. You just gang up on people or run away, it’s pretty hard to judge what you’re doing wrong/right when you simply use superior numbers to win the rare fights you engage in.

I cannot solo anyone, i run a support build. If i wanted to kill solo i wouldnt be playing this class. I get blown up by rogue’s, i cannot go toe to toe with them.
Kinda of why im in sPvP and not WvW making the video. (It is sad to admit, but thats the way it is atm.)

I use the flaming speed to drop off of the ledge to LoS and apply burning, every time i was up at the CT i was fighting a Turtle Guardian, so i was just buying my time for back up.

And i do need to work on the Cone effects, i forget the range is less than other skills. Thanks for pointing that out.

And agreed, that team was bad, but it worked out for me.

I took this part to heart and i’ve been trying to work on not running away, but if i dont spec for full Tough\Vit i just get destoryed by anyone except full tank Guardians. So i guess thats kinda how D/D was ment to be played…..Evading.
I can run away like its nobodys buisness tho, lol

Yea, for some reason i’m allways thinking im doing something wrong or my build could be better or blah, blah, blah….i’m to stubborn to just give up on a class thats just sokittenfun to play. Even though i can get on my warrior and just destroy people.
