Greetings fellow eles,

I’ve been playing the game for about 3 days now and I’ve gotten pretty good at might stacking, but there’s one thing I don’t get:

I’ve been watching a video in which the ele seems to get 3 ‘free’ stacks of might after casting Fire4 (combo starts at 2:07) and I don’t understand where they come from. Is it possible to be an outdated mechanic that has changed since dec’ 2014?

If he just switched to fire it was probably sigil of battle. Or maybe you didn’t notice arcane blast going off because is intant and you can pretty much use it at the same time as the firefield.

It’s not arcane blast, because he’s not using any utility skills.
And wouldn’t sigil of battle account for only 2 stacks? (he had 3)

The change from 3 to 2 was tuesday I think. It used to be 3 for a long time originally.

You have the trait that gives you one stack of might while swapping to Fire attunement as well.

Or that video was from before the patch.

I watched the video, he gets the three stack of might from the battle sigil. He switched to earth right after the ring of fire and he got the proc. This video was made before the update that changed the three stacks of battle sigil to two.
