D/D skills not hitting
It’s another great elementalist’s feature. You can use water/earth auto-attack, which is terrible in power build (water AA is terrible in any build). Most dagger attack can’t change angle and damage targets straight in front of you at same level. And devs are to busy to fix this like RtL. They will better fix another minor bug or nerf something.
P.S. Devs can’t fix RtL for 2 months, when similar skills for other classes work fine. So what do you want? :/

I’ve not noticed this. But I found myself unable to hit mines using Dagger Water’s auto attack in Brisban Wildlands yesterday (Fire worked fine though, thankfully), so I can see how it could be a real problem and I just haven’t run into it.

Key word is “water”. As I said water AA is one of few dagger skills which can change it’s attack angle. Try to use fire auto-attack againts enemy at stairs above you for example. Or hit traps on walls in ascalonian catacombs.

it’s very annoying to struggle to hit things with AA…
It’s somehting bothering other classes as well, far as the AA goes.
I have trouble on warrior/guardian hitting things in melee range, mostly things like portals/tables etc.
It keeps missing unless you get in a very specific place…annoying.

It’s another bug. Miss when hit objects with melee attack elemetalist have too with lightning whip. But many of other skills just won’t hit target above you, they attack empty space under target.
I only play ele in spvp, but thats all I really play there. I have an 80 thief and mesmer I wvwvw with. I have to say I found it humorous that the range on especially a lot of the dagger main hand abilities is extremely lackluster. The range definitely does not synergize with the class, just like dagger on necro where the ranges are up and down big time. Im with the belief that all abilties of each weapon set should be of the same range UNLESS they offer some BIG reward for the risk
