DPS / survival build for WvW/PVE/PVP
There is no such things as “best build” for what you ask. And .. if you would have read a little bit, there are tons of hybrid builds on this forum, so don’t be a lazzy kitten & just check those up
Im not lazy, i have seen most of them, but most builds that i have seem are mostly healing, i dont want to heal. I want to put damage and survive
D/d is most balanced in that department

I am going to take a shot in the dark and assume that by, Healing, the OP means that there are trait points in water in the builds he has seen.
fyi, that does not make the build a “healing build”. Well, it sort of does, but not really. Ele’s in PvP have to have good condition removal from all the damage they are taking. Their gear likely has little vitality and may very well be largely Beserker gear. The idea is to skimp on the vitality in the armor and make it up in the Water trait because that is where we have to go anyway to get the condition removal we need.
A Healing Build, as most of us understand the term, means high Healing Power to heal party members. Two entirely different things. I have hardly ever, like maybe a handful of times in a year and a half, seen this type of build in these forums. So that cant be what you are seeing everywhere.

at the moment this is impossible, wait for the next big balance patch and cross fingers.
Also, WvW, PvE and PvP are all completely differents for what concerns Elementalist so forget a “one build to rule them all” ‘cause that ain’t gonna happen.
This said, most of the builds present in this forum have been around for so much time that we consider them playables, up to you to decide if they are of your taste or not.
Well I found a great build, well i think it is. 25/0/25/10/10, i mostly will use staff, so Im going to use this build to see how it goes, but what traits do you guys think would be best for this? Im looking around the traits myself right now.
If you’re using staff primarily, you will likely want to stay in fire a majority of the time, so I’d recommend Fire VI and VII do max damage output from the fire line.
If you’re running cantrips, I’d run Water III with your 10 in water to help whatever utility/support your cantrips provide, otherwise maybe Water VI if you want more damage.
In the Arcane line, I’d usually grab Blasting Staff (Arcane V) for PvE or Keep fighting in WvW but otherwise Arcane II for any PvP.
The Earth traits are the most variable to me. I’d likely go for Earth VI for more damage, and Earth VIII or IX for protection, specifically in PvP.
I’m not sure I like the last 5 points in earth (up to 25) but may be better used for the last grandmaster trait in fire or the 15 pt water trait.
