Dependency on arcane and water has increased
I wouldn’t say Water and Arcana are good, it’s just that Earth, Fire and Air are just worthless.
There are no reasons to leave Water and Arcana as the other trait lines offer NOTHING good, just gimmicky single builds. No versatility.
The ‘buff’ to Arcane Wave does more harm than good. Making Arcane Wave ground targeting, THAT SHOULD BE PART OF A TRAIT, not the skill.

It’s very clear ArenaNet needs help, I wonder when they’ll acknowledge the fact they keep failing time and again…
Just look at the video where the people responsible for the class changes explain them and you’ll understand everything about why at every patch everything get’s out of balance more.
“Oh look at that, my guardian is fully healed in 1 sec” “Oh well… It might look OP but it’s only for specific builds”.
Next think you’ll know the ele will get destroyed in 1 vs 1 by glass canon guardians that fully heal themselves in 2 sec.

So, I gave diamond skin a second chance for the case where I might have missed something, but no, first impression was right, it’s a terrible trait due to how laughably easy it is to take an Ele below 90% HP.
Which, again, leaves arcane and water as they only trait lines worth taking to 30.
