Dhuumfire Necro Update: Affects SPvP only
Don’t get your hopes up because “top players” all think it’s ok
Not sure but I think this is the first thing they’ve done that only affects SPvP as far as traits and/or skills. So hopefully this could be a harbinger of having the old RTL come back for PVE at the very least, potentially also WvW. So what do you guys think, good things to come, or should we not get our hopes up?

Kamui , if you read around the pvp threads , theyve stated they are NOT going to do the same system we had back in GW1…..sad i know….i LOVED that system since it prevented PvP from destroying PvE and vice versa.
There are a lot of skills and traits that work differently in this game from WvW and PvE.
The difference is that unlike GW1 where they completely separated out the two in this game they are working towards having the characters largely play the same in PvE, PvP, and WvW. This means they’re going to minimize this as much as possible.
That means if people are boohooing about not being able to get around with Ride the Lightning as a convenience for mobility purposes in PvE you probably won’t see much traction with that argument.
Also this change was purely for the tournament and the trait will be remade later i.e after the tournament.
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.

Cleansing Wave off the proc from water dodge (Evasive Arcana) heals 50% less in spvp. Elementalist PvE is very different to Elementalist PvP
