So… will the Dec. 10 Diamond Skin trait protect against Agony?

Because when I do Fractals, my main problem is Agony that I receive not from boss hits, but just for being around a Level 10+ Fractal. For instance, the Molten Core Boss fight, I die not because I get hit (though that happens too sometimes) but because I get Agony just by being on the platform. If Diamond Skin will protect against that proc, then I could conceivably get away with not having any Agony Resistance at all in mid to high level fractals.

Will this also affect things like Toxic condition? In Tower of Nightmares I hate being Toxified just by walking around.

The best tool against agony is the trading post.

Completely doubt diamond skin will work against agony. It might at first when the patch is released….. Until that glitch gets fixed.

Agony is a unique effect. It is not a Condition in the same way that Bleeding, Cripple, and Poison are. Diamond Skin will not effect Agony.

Berserker Stance didn’t work against Agony. Why should Diamond Skin? As far as I know, the only thing to protect you from agony besides dodging, agony resist, or any kind of special items like the crystals during the Jade Maw, is Invulnerability of course

In fact, NOTHING can protect you from agony application during entry.

so…do we need to buff Invulnerability? :o

And I also noticed that more of the mechanics which are unavoidable was introduced in-game, so welcome to the combat RNG guys You can’t even dodge some things now (not talking about agony), so if you’re focused, you’re screwed

Well, I think those things are added more and more in game, and playing a warrior because of that is not an option for me (I have lvl 80 warr), because even tetris require more effort to play than this class, so I’m not playing it, it’s just rotting on my account.

Not that this trait ever gonna be worth picking like it is now.
