I‘m using dual daggers and sometimes?I wanna use ride the lightning for the purpose of escaping. However?I ’m locked to the nearest target(autotargeting)so I can’t use that to escape(lightning – dual daggers skill 4). does anyone know how to deselect target so I can use ride the lightning to escape? Thanks a lot.

Don’t use autotargeting. And just spam press ground with mouse to untarget. Or use Esc, which can pop up menu to screw up everything tho.

Under options. “Autotargeting”
Just De-select it.

And press escape to drop current enemy, and the way you face. is the way you go.
You can even go right beside him if you want. as long as you dont Hit him.

Easiest way is to just double click any empty part of your screen. As long as you don’t click on something else you can target, you’ll drop your current one.

Let me tell you the best kept little secret about deselecting targets, that noone seems to know about.

Under “Control options” → “Targeting”, there’s an option named “Lock Autotarget”.

Bind a key to that one (I use my Alt key) and voila – there you have your deselect target key.

By far the best and fastest method to deselect a target.
