I think it just makes a lot more sense to have made Elementalist dual wield pistols over dual daggers. Giving them a slight range to compensate for their horrid survivability and that would slightly help with the over nerf from Beta to Live.

I don’t think so, D/D has a lot of mobility and control that allows you to dominate the opponent if played well. It’s also a combo that allows melee combat, P/P may appear in the future and would be a nice addition, but it certainly could not replace D/D.

tl;dr: No.

Giving the option for pistols ok, but i’m finding D/D build works great and makes combat alot of fun.
