How do elementalists drop dragon tooth right on top of them? When I try to use the blast finisher in my fire field it always shoots straight to 900 range?

They don’t, their target is either next to them or they run toward the tooth.

If you don’t currently have a target, try pointing your camera either straight down (eagle eye view) or straight up (at the sky) before starting your dragon’s tooth cast. You can kind of direct the range with this method.

Personally I run to the tooth then drop fire 4,3,arcane blast. Then switch into earth and use 4 and 5 if you have a decent crowd around for AOE. That’s 15-18 might depending on if you use battle sigil.
