That’s like saying we don’t need/use Healing Ripple because you could just attune to water and dodge using Evasive Arcana. I am not satisfied with that response.

You want an extra blast finisher so easily you’re going to have to theorycraft a better argument.

I think Earthen Blast is a bit underwhelming and the blast finisher could be added to that. But if that’s too much, it could replace the damage and cripple on swap or it could be added to one of the master trait options or replace a current option.
By the way, Lostwingman, your response seemed a bit condescending.

earth is awesome, it offers on dagger
> control, can be used to set up combos

i dont play staff at all, but i guess its pretty cool, it has an unlimited target knockdown thingy, a blast finisher, if u manage to pin ur enemy on it(it is actually easy, saw tons of ppl doing it) it deals awesome dmg, 5 s instant reflect, selfexplanationary, a nice immobalize wich goes through ppl
so tell me, how underhwelming is earth..

I said Earthen Blast not the entire Earth Attunement. It’s a single minor trait in the master section of Earth Attunement.

o well , my bad, anyway, earth attunement is awesome, doesnt rly need a buff (not for pvp at least)
I do agree that Earth Attunement and its associated abilities do offer a lot of good utility.
The idea for this trait stems directly from noticing that one day while attuning to Earth, I though it would make a lot of sense if it would count as a blast finisher and could also be interesting if it did.
This could be interesting for staff and dual daggers. Seeing as both sets only have a single blast finisher if you don’t use Evasive Arcana and utilities that are blast finishers. I actually believe that if they implemented this trait, it could remove some of the dependence on Evasive Arcana since most people that use it, use it for the heal in water on dodge (which we have Healing Ripple for) and the blast while dodging in Earth Attunement. Some people use Evasive Arcana for the blind on dodge in Air and the fire Aoe for the dodge in Fire. But I believe most use it for the Earth and Water benefits.

It’s a nice thought, but I don’t think it would make a balanced addition to eles. An extra blast would be redundant for s/x or d/x, which already have great access to blasts.
On the other hand, staff has the least blasts of all ele weapons because it also has easy access to waterfields. I fear adding another easily-accessible blast available every 10 seconds would give too great a boost to a weapon and build that already boast great support and sustain.
with so many blast finishers, really dont need this lol
